There isn’t a whole lot of information of what this update addresses. In typical Microsoft fashion, the update says “This update includes improvements to enhance the functionality of Windows 10.” There is a Microsoft Support page up, although it doesn’t spell out what exactly this update is addressing. Hopefully we’ll get more information on it in the coming days. This updated does require a system restart, and remember you can schedule when restart takes place....

An update for Windows Live Essentials users was announced last week from Microsoft. It mentioned that its entire suite of apps including Live Messenger, Mail, Photo Gallery, Movie Maker, Mesh and of course our favorite blogging tool, Windows Live Writer. Steven Abrahams, Windows Live lead program manager mentioned users will see new features including the ability to chat with Facebook friends, photo fuse in Photo Gallery and much much more....

Hit Windows Key + C to display the Charms bar and click Search. Under the Search box are Apps, Settings and Files, then a list of other Windows 8 apps installed on your system. To change the order of the apps, right click an app in the list and click Pin or Hide. Here I pinned three apps to the top of the list and hid a few others.
